Man Who Approached Ariana Grande during Movie Premiere Banned from Singapore
An Australian man who vaulted across a fence and touched celebrity Ariana Grande has been expelled and prohibited from Singapore.
The individual, twenty-six, was handed a penalty to more than a week in prison for disrupting public order and has now been "barred from re-entering Singapore," the country's border control informed news outlets.
Wen pushed past photographers and approached aggressively the celebrity, who was participating in the Asian premier for the musical adaptation on 13 November. Co-performer Cynthia Erivo pulled him back from Grande.
Wen has a history of interrupting performances and celebrity events, including leaping onto the platform at the pop star's Australian show in this summer.

The Court Judge Christopher Goh was referenced by Channel News Asia as saying that he was looking for publicity, noting that he was incorrect to believe he would not experience repercussions.
The actress has not addressed the case.
The co-star discussed the situation to the press, remarking that she "only aimed to make sure my colleague was secure."
"I'm sure he had no intention to us injury, but you can't predict with those things, and I aimed to confirm that she was alright. That was my first instinct," she said.
